Sarah Jeanette: Hair Inspiration

Summer is here! Well, almost, we still have a month left of Spring. But the warm weather has arrived (99 today!) I like to change my hair every summer and I usually do something drastic and super trendy.

Now it has grown out a bit and there is some blonde in it. I've had the side shave for over a year now and recently I've been seeing it everywhere. I don't want to sound snobby but when I go to a concert and count up to 4 other girls with the same haircut as me.. it's time for a change. So now comes the daunting task of finding a new hair style I like. I fell in LOVE with Ashlee Simpson's recent pixie cut.

I love the pixie trend to death. I'm fairly confident I could pull it off, too. But the boyfriend is basically begging me not to. Also, I've been job hunting a lot recently and I feel I have better chances with a more classic haircut. Sexism still exists, whether I'd like to admit it or not.

So I turn to another inspiration; Alexa Chung.
